  ALVY 0. RAVENSCROFT 
  
  Alvy O. Ravenscroft, 55, of Meyersdale, died June 23, 1989, was DOA at
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  He was born Oct. 10, 1927, in Kenmore, Ohio,
  a son of the late Marcellus and Helen (Rawlings) Ravenscroft.  He is survived
  by his wife, the former Frances E. Habel and these children: Mrs. Carolyn
  Simon of Allison Park; Janet and Lauren, both at home.  Also two grandsons,
  Paul and John.  He was an employee of the Chessie System Railroad for past
  40 years.  He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the B.R.A.C. of
  Connellsville.  Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.
  Services were conducted at the Zion Lutheran Church, Meyersdale, with the
  Rev. Lloyd Wilson officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
