  RAYBECK
  
  Elliott T. Raybeck, 87, of Confluence died March 10, 1997, at Community
  Convalescent Center, Naperville, Ill.  Born June 9, 1909, in Confluence, a
  son of the late Lyman and Nora (Ryland) Raybeck.  In addition to his
  parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Glover) Raybeck; a
  son, Sherrill Rach Raybeck, and sisters, Vivian Hammill and Faye LaRue.
  Survived by a son, Gerald of Albuquerque, N.M., and a daughter, Sharon
  Blixt of Naperville.  Also five grandchildren.  U.S. Navy veteran of World
  War II.  Member of Confluence VFW Post 7250, Ursina American Legion,
  Confluence Lodge 814, IOOF; Confluence Christian Church.  Served in the
  Civilian Conservation Corps.  He retired from the B & O Railroad.  Friends
  will be received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, from 2 until 9
  p.m. Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. the hour of service, Rev.
  Evert Millard and Rev. Weldon Peary officiating.  Interment, Addison
  Cemetery.
