"Kooser" Rayman, 72, of Sipesville, died July 5, 1996, at Somerset Hospital. Born Dec. 17, 1923 in Somerset Township, son of Homer M. and Alda Mae (Miller) Rayman. Preceded in death by parents, son, Terry J. who died on Aug. 30, 1969. Survived by his wife, the former Ethel Mae Friedline, to whom he was married for 47 years, son: Roger A. Rayman, married to the former Carolyn Imler, Sipesville. A 1941 graduate of Shanksville High School and Army veteran of WW II. Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Somerset; Somerset Lodge 358 F&AM, Harrisburg Consistory, Jaffa Temple, Somerset County Shrine Club; American Legion Post 181; Roxbury Mountain Field & Stream Club; and Somerset County Old Timers Baseball Club. Route driver for Luther P. Miller Inc. Retired in 1988. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday in Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Services will be conducted 2 p.m., Monday, July 8, 1996 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Somerset with the Rev. Glenn E. Sadler officiating. No viewing at the church. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 651 South Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501 and St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 202 West Union St., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
