Born July 28, 1931 in Macdonaldton, he Was the son of Perry and Lydia (Hartman) Rayman. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Doris J. (Henley) Rayman; a daughter. Linda Nelson, and a grandson Bryan Nelson, both of Berlin. He was a retired sergeant for the Washington. D.C. Metropolitan Police Dept., Air Force veteran of the Korean War, retired command Sergeant major of the Army National Guard, life member of the VFW, graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School class of 1949, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset. Family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home. Berlin. Private graveside service with Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. officiating will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
