He was born Oct. 17, 1917, in Meyersdale, a son of the late Frederick and Ida Belle (Dahl) Raymond. Preceded in death by brothers, Carl, John, Daniel, George, Bill and sisters, Catherine and Mary. Survived by his widow, Mabel (Ackerman) Raymond; stepdaughter, Donna Haselbarth, Meyersdale; one grandchild, Dean Haselbarth and two great-grandchildren Jeffrey and Kyle. Also survived by a sister, Margie Hewcik, Coatesville and two special nephews, William B. Raymond and his wife, Pam and Rodney E. Raymond and his wife Rose, both of Cumberland, Md. and other nieces and nephews. Member of SS. Philip and James Catholic Church. He was a veteran of World War II, a 57-year member of Charles E. Kelly Post 112 American Legion and a member of L.O.O.M. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Father James Dugan officiating. Interment will be held in the SS.
