  MAXINE S. RAYMOND
   
  Maxine Susan Raymond, 68, of Cumberland, MD, died Thursday, June 14, 1990,
  at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, MD.  Born Aug. 21, 1921, in
  Flintstone, MD, she was the daughter of the late Earnest and Nettie
  (Simmons) Mullenax.  She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and was
  a former employee of Friends Aware.  She was the valedictorian of the
  Flintstone High School Class of 1939.  She is survived by her husband,
  William T. Raymond Sr.; two sons, William T. Raymond Jr.; and Rodney E.
  Raymond, both of Cumberland, MD; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Scott; and Mrs.
  Mildred Ash, both of Cumberland, MD; and one granddaughter, Megan Raymond.
  Friends were received at the Silcox-Merritt Funeral Residence.  Mass of
  Christian burial was celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick
  Church.  Interment, Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Robert
  Eversole, Michael Hilditch, Randy Killander, Keith Killander, James Welsh
  and Richard Wolford.
