ALVIN G. REAM

  The body of Pfc. Alvin G. Ream of Confluence, who was killed in action in 
Germany, April 18, 1945, arrived in Confluence Tuesday for burial.  He was born 
January 5, 1921 in the Jersey settlement, a son of Edgar and the late Nora Ream.  
His mother died in September 1945.
  Besides his father, the following brothers and sisters survive: Raymond, 
Eugene, Verna, Esther, Margaret, Donald and Dane Ream.
  Military rites will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the Humbert 
Funeral Home.  Burial in Somerset County Memorial Park.
