Ream, 75, of Shanksville, died Jan. 11, 1984, Somerset Community Hospital. Born Dec. 8, 1908, in Stonycreek Township, daughter of Edward and Mary (Fisher) Rayman. Preceded in death by parents; husband Frank C.S. Ream in 1959; brothers Merle and William. Survived by son Kenneth Peterson, married to Bonnie Miller, Stoystown RD 3; three grandchildren, Michele, Tina and Eric. She was a sister of Mrs. Grace Boyd, Shanksville; Ralph, Somerset. She was a retired school teacher, having taught in the Shanksville-Stonycreek school system. She was a member of the Rayman Church of the Brethren where she was a Sunday school teacher and key lady for Scalp Level Church of the Brethren Home. Member of Shanksville Silver and Gold Senior Citizens and Somerset County Retired Teachers Assn. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Robert L. Hoffman.
