  REAM
  
  Mrs. Gertrude S. Ream, 92, Somerset RD 6, died Jan. 4, 1979, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  She was born April 4, 1886, in Bakersville, daughter of
  the late Henry B. and Joanna (Kreger) Schlag.  Preceded in death by husband
  Frank, four sisters and one brother.  Survived by two children, Mrs. Edison
  (Ruth) Holliday, Somerset RD 6, and Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Shilke, State
  College, Pa.; five grandchildren ; three great-grandchildren.  She was a
  member of the Bakersville Mount Zion Lutheran Church and the L.C.W.  She was
  a retired schoolteacher, having taught 28 years in the Bakersville area.
  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today at the Richard E. Hauger
  Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday at the
  Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Bakersville, with the Rev. Walter Startzell
  officiating.  Interment Bakersville cemetery. Body to lie in state at the
  church from 11 a.m. Monday until service time.  In lieu of flowers,
  donations may be made to the Mount Zion Lutheran Church.
