Ream, 73, of Cocoa Beach, Fla., formerly of Berlin, died Dec. 3, 2001 at his residence. Born July 29, 1928 in Somerset, he was the son of John 0. and Zella (Wetmiller) Ream Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dr. Norman B. Ream. Surviving are two brothers, John O. Jr., married to the former Louise McAlpine; Frank C., married to the former Ruth Johnson; both of Berlin; a sister Mary Kretchman, Meyersdale, and several nieces and nephews. He was a former manager for F.D.I.C., Region 6 Atlanta; and retired as a liaison between the F.D.I.C. and the U.S. Treasury Dept. in Washington, D.C. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, graduate of Berlin-Brothersvalley High School and Penn State University. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin. Service will be private.
