Ream, a multi-millionaire, of Chicago and New York, and a native of Ursina, died Feb. 9, at the Presbyterian Hospital, New York, after a brief illness. He was in his seventy-first year. Mr. Ream was personally known by scores of Somerset countiains and he has frequently helped those in need. After the cyclone at Ursina two years ago, Mr. Ream sent his check for two thousand dollars to help in rebuilding the town. One of his sons is engaged is engaged in the coal business in Hooversville. The deceased enlisted in the war as a private and retired a first lieutenant. Meyersdale Commercial, Feb. 18, 1915 --- The funeral of Norman B. Ream, a native of Ursina, whose sudden death was noted last week, was held from St. George's Church, New York, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Mr. Ream amassed a vast fortune, leaving an estate worth approximately fifth million dollars. Meyersdale Commercial, Feb. 25, 1915
