Ream, 74, of Mill Run RD 1, died Nov. 24, 1989, at Laurel Health Center, Uniontown. Born Nov. 30, 1914, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, a son of the late Joseph W. and Sadie (Harbaugh) Ream. Surviving are his wife, Alverta (Stull) Ream; a daughter, Joan Cleaver, and son-in-law, Jerry, Farmington; two granddaughters, Kelly and Kimberly; two brothers, Herbert, Mill Run, and Norman, Harnedsville, and two sisters, Alma Sands, Confluence, and Erma Younkin, Cleveland, Ohio. Preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters. A member of UMW Local 1742 of Jennerstown; member of the Maple Summit Church. Retired from Saxman Coal and Coke Company, Quecreek. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Robert Hull officiating.
