Ream, 83, of McClellandtown died May 8, 1997, at her residence. She was born Jan. 18, 1914, in Mill Run. Daughter of the late James and Irene Miner Welsh. Mrs. Ream had been employed at Scottdale Wood Products and the Connellsville State General Hospital. She is survived by four daughters: Margaret Miller of Normalville; Mrs. Gerald (Joyce) Darrell and Mrs. Alan (Connie) Hillegass, both of McClellandtown, and Mrs. Alvin (Iris Pauline) Leslie of Fort Hill. Also a son, George Ream Jr. of Moscow, Pa.; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her former husband George W. Ream; two sisters, Catherine Stillwagon and Gertrude Williams; three brothers, James, Daniel and Henry, and a great-grandson, Brian Nicola. The family will receive friends from 2 until 9 p.m. Friday in the Harold B. Mulligan Inc. Funeral Home, Uniontown, at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with David A. Brothers officiating. Interment, Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
