  Albert Edward (Bud) Reckner, 75, of Somerset, died Dec. 21, 2003, of Siemon
  Lakeview Manor Estate.  Born March 27, 1928 in Quecreek, a son of the late
  John Reckner and Mary Ann (Hetzer) Reckner-Bell.  Also preceded in death by
  his stepfather, William Bell, daughter Connie Ann and grandparents, Daisy
  and Albert Hetzer.  Survived by wife, Jean (Foust) Reckner; children, Sandra
  Reckner and special friend Richard Whittington of Willoughby Hills, Ohio,
  Kathy, wife of Alex Weir of Somerset, Michael Reckner of Sipesville,
  Patrick Reckner, married to Debra Dancho of South Carolina, Jeffrey Reckner
  of Berlin and Becky, wife of Robert Kennedy of South Carolina;
  grandchildren, Shelley Barto, Adam Weir, Jami Weir, Melissa Reckner, Vince
  Reckner, Chevy Reckner, Kylie Kennedy and Madison Kennedy;
  great-granchildren, Brittany Barto, Hanna Barto, Madelynn Weir, Cassidy
  Weir and Blaze Reckner.  Member of FOE Aerie 1801.  Retired as a heavy
  equipment operator for Hard Hat Mining Co.  Friends received from 7 to 9
  p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert H Halverson
  Funeral Home, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday.  Rev. Brenda
  Shaffer and Rev. Dennis Fetter officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park
