    Helen M. Reckner, 84, Confluence, died March 17, 2008, in Meyersdale Hospital. She was
  born May 17, 1923, in Pitgas, a daughter of Charles and Myrtle (Willingham) Groff. She
  was preceded in death by her parents; adopting parents, Marcellous and Rebecca (Groff)
  Burnworth; husband, Orville T. Reckner; son, Edward Thomas Reckner; brothers, Charles and
  Arthur Groff; half brother, Curtis Mickey; and half sister, Laura Mickey. She is survived
  by a son, James Reckner, and wife Leonicia, Harrisburg; and daughters, Loretta Beech, and
  husband Mark, Friedens, Linda Nicklow, and husband, Darrell, Orbisonia, Cynthia Bittinger,
  and husband, Chet, Uniontown; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great
  great- grandchildren. She was a longtime member of the Confluence Church of the Nazarene.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral
  Home, Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Darrell
  Nicklow officiating. Interment Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
