  LEROY R. RECKNER 
  
  Leroy R. Reckner, 70, Gray, died Nov. 21, 1982, at Memorial Hospital,
  Johnstown.  He was born July 3, 1912, in Jenners, son of Charles and Bertha
  Ann (Tipton) Reckner.  He was preceded in death by parents; wife, the former
  Ida Butler, who died Aug. 21, 1982; sisters, Ella Manners, Florence Carrico,
  and Eva Layton; brothers, William, George, James, and John.  He is survived
  by these children: Glenn, married to former Judith Peterman, Jenners; June,
  wife of Bill Sullivan, Alexandria, Va.; Hazel, wife of John Hyde, Dayton,
  Ohio; Foster, married to former Donna Gohn, Jenners; Janet, wife of Leonard
  Miller, Friedens; Shelby, wife of James W. Stufft, Boswell RD 2; and 13
  grandchildren.  He was the brother of Harry and Theodore, both of Jerome;
  Albert, Columbus, Ohio; Frank, Salisbury; and Ethel, wife of Arthur
  Williams, Stoystown RD 1.  He was a member of Jerome Church of Nazarene;
  retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp.  Friends were received at Hoffman
  Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where services were held wih the
  Rev. John A. Goodworth.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
