  RECKNER
  
  Mary Ethel Reckner, 81, of COnfluence RD 1, died Sept. 15, 1976, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Nov. 9, 1894, in Henry Clay Township,
  Fayette County, a daughter of CO. and Arminta (Brenneman) Reckner.  She is
  survived by the following sisters: Mrs. Clyde (Ida) Bowlin, Mrs. K. H.
  (Irena) Silbaugh, both of Confluence RD 1; Miss Grace Reckner of Uniontown;
  Mrs. Bertha Shaefer and Mrs. Dewey (Effie) Sluss, both of Baltimore, Md.  She
  is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in
  death by three sisters, Mrs. C.C. (Anna) Show, Miss Hazel Reckner and Miss
  Lizzie Reckner.  She was a lifetime member of the Johnson Chapel Methodist
  Church.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Humbert
  Funeral Home, Confluence, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 2
  p.m. with the Rev. John R. Hickson officiating.  Interment, Johnson Chapel
  Cemetery.
