  RECKNER
  
  Stephen E. Reckner, 49, of Confluence, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003 at his
  home.  He was born March 16, 1953 in Confluence.  A son of Harvey Reckner Sr.
  and Elsie (Whaley) Reckner of Confluence.  In addition to his parents he his
  survived by his wife Bernice (Shroyer) Reckner; a daughter Stephanie
  Speicher and her husband Wayne of Confluence; step grandchildren, Kayla and
  Jeffrey Speicher; a brother Harvey Reckner Jr. and his wife Ida Mae of
  Confluence and nieces Venus (Reckner) Stark and husband Jeff of Addison and
  Julie (Reckner) Adamsky and husband Doug of Confluence.  He was a member of
  Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church where he served on the
  administrative board, and the board of trustees.  He was a self-employed
  contract logger for over 30 years.  Friends will be received in the Humbert
  Funeral Home, Confluence today from 7 to 9 p.m.; Friday from 10 a.m. to 9
  p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. the hour of service With the Rev.
  Timothy Rogers officiating.  Interment in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.  Family
  suggests memorial contributions to Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church.
