(Blickenstaff) Reddecliff, 85, Critchfield Road, Friedens, died unexpectedly Dec. 27, 2003, at Somerset Hospital. Born March 17, 1918 in Pittsburgh, daughter of John and Fannie (Uhle) Blickenstaff. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Virginia "Gin" Fischer. Survived by husband of 63 years, Melvin "Mel" E.; children, Richard, married to former Vonelle Griffin, Sarostoa, Fla., Janice, married to John Johnson, Marion Center, Sharon, married to Ken Hahn, Friedens, John, married to former Jenny Eccleston, Isle of Wite, England, and Dennis, married to former Natalie Codispoti, Titusville, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and brother Jack, married to the former Rose Parch, North Tonawonda, N.Y. Sister-in-law of Gladys Eberhart, Johnstown, Lois, married to Roy Hoskins, Cleveland, Ohio, and William, married to former Sally McDaniel, Johnstown RD. She was an active member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown, where she belonged to the Knotty Women and WELCA. Taught Sunday school and catechism and was the church's "official hugger." Was a recipient of the Lamb Award through the Lutheran church. Retired secretary from former Area Home Health Agency with 12 years of service. Volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 16 years and Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Active in the Cubby Program of the Boy Scouts of America, particularly with Cub Scout Day Camp and Roundtable, where she was a "Salute To Women" honoree and a recipient of the "Award of Merit." She also enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and sewing. Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell. Friends also received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Laurel Trinity, Church. The Rev. Jacquelyn M. Ahern officiating. Interment, Mount Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Caroline's name may be given to Penns Woods Council of BS of A, 664 Old Tire Hill Road, Johnstown, Pa. 15905, or Laurel Trinity Church, P.O.
