Rederic, a life long citizen of Confluence, died at his home on Manning Street late Thursday evening, after an illness of several weeks, due to infirmities of age. He was born on June 5, 1850, and was aged 81 years, 11 months and 16 days. During the last five years, Mr. Rederic was employed as weighmaster for the Borough of Confluence. Previous to that time he operated a barber shop in Confluence. He was for a number of years the borough constable and was engaged at various times in different occupations. His wife preceded him to the grave about ten years ago. Surviving are three sons and three daughters. Funeral services were held at his late home on Manning Street on Saturday, April 23rd, at 3 p.m., Rev. Geo. O. Ritter of the Confluence Lutheran Church officiating. Interment in Ursina Cemetery. Charles B. Humbert was in charge of the burial arrangements. Meyersdale Republican, April 28, 1932
