  Edward F. Reed, 59, 199 Broadway, Berlin, died suddenly Nov. 11, 1973.  He
  was born June 12, 1914 in Cumberland, Md., the son of John L. and Mary
  (Walsh) Reed.  Surviving: His wife, the former Catherine Shockey, one son,
  Edward F., Jr., Berlin, also three brothers, Robert, Cumberland, Md., John,
  Pittsburgh, Joseph, Buffalo, N.Y.  Friends will be received in the Johnson &
  Son Funeral Home, Berlin, after 7 p.m. today, where services will be held,
  2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Charles W. Sigler officiating.  Interment
  Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
