Reedy, 69, of Somerset RD 7, died July 27, 1988 in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Feb. 21, 1919 in Somerset, son of the late Charles Abraham Reedy and the late Bessie (Pifer) Reedy-Gaynor. Also preceded by stepfather, Harry Gaynor; and sisters, Mildred Reedy and Julia Fisher; brothers, Harry and Ernest Reedy; and half-brothers, Frank Reedy and Tom Gaynor. Survived by these children: Mrs. Lee (Bonnie) Pfrogner, Griffin, Ga.; the Rev. Sherry Henz, York; Jerry Reedy, Atwater, Calif.; Edward Reedy, Youngstown, Ohio; and Thomas Reedy, Somerset RD 7; also 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A brother of: Mrs. Ada Brown, Clarence Reedy, Mrs. George (Mary) Newell, Mrs. Charles (Carrie) Shreffler, and Charles Reedy, all of Somerset. A member of Somerset V.F.W. Post 554 and a retired meatcutter for Bingman Packing Co. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday (today) at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, with his daughter, the Rev. Sherry Henz, officiating.
