  REEDY, William Dean 08/09/06 Daily American
  
   William Dean Reedy, 82, Somerset, died Aug. 7, 2006, at his residence. Born April 26,
  1924, in Somerset, the son of Clarence William and Marie (Brant) Reedy. Preceded in death
  by parents; wife, the former Helen Rosella Klein, who died Nov. 23, 1990. Survived by
  children, Larry W. Reedy and Barbara Ann Reedy, both of Somerset. Also survived by
  sister, Mrs. Betty Gorman, Somerset. Member of First United Methodist Church, 1942
  graduate of Somerset High School. Was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II serving in the
  European and Pacific Theaters, also a member of VFW Post 554. He had worked in the
  maintenance department for the Somerset State Hospital, retiring in 1984. Friends
  received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset,
  where service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Dr. Arthur J. Gotjen
  officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may be sent to

  Center, 314 S. Kimberly Ave., Somerset, PA 15501.
