  MRS. GEORGE D. REESE
  
  Mrs. Bertha Alice Reese. 76. of Silver Spring, Md., died Nov. 23, 1974, in
  a private nursing home there.  Born in Friendsville, MD, she was a daughter
  of the late Milton A. and Samantha (Umbel) Rush and was the widow of George
  D. Reese.  Mrs. Reese was a member of Rush Baptist Chapel, Friendsville, and
  the Order of the Eastern Star.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Doris J.
  Renner, Silver Spring; two grandchildren; a brother, Orval G. Rush,
  Friendsville; and a sister, Mrs. Bina Watson, Terra Alta.  Funeral service
  will be conducted at 11 o'clock, Wednesday morning in John O. Durst Fureral
  Home with Rev. Dr. Sidney Larson officiating.  Interment Blooming Rose
  Cemetery.
