BOSWELL MINER KILLED - Funeral services for David John Reese who was killed 
Thursday morning in the Boswell mine of the United Coal Company were held at 2 
o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Boswell Presbyterian Church. The remains were 
interred in the United Brethren Cemetery at Jenners. Mr. Reese was caught under 
a fall of coal and smothered to death before other workmen could get to him. His 
brother, Joseph Reese, was slightly injured by the same fall. Besides his widow, 
Mr. Reese is survived by two children in Boswell and one in Wales, and one 
brother who was with him at the time of the fatal accident.
