  Melody L. (Hawkins) Reese, 41, Greencastle, formerly of Somerset, died
  Sept. 24, 2004, in Hagerstown, Md.  Born Sept. 13, 1963, in Daytona Beach,
  Fla., daughter of Audrey (Bauman) Hawkins, Stoystown.  Preceded in death by
  a sister, Amanda L. Hawkins.  Survived by her husband, Allen J. Reese, whom
  she married Feb. 21, 1987, and a son Jacob A.  Also survived by sisters,
  Mrs. V.R. (Suzanne) Jones, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Mrs. Fred (Betty) Flick,
  Somerset, Mrs. Robert (Sally) Snyder, Stoystown, and Mrs. Randall
  (Samantha) Keller, Houston, Pa.; brothers, Gregory R. Firestone and wife
  Barbara, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Mark Firestone, Vine Grove, Ky.; and
  numerous nieces and nephews.  Also survived by her in-laws, Mr. and Mrs.
  Donald Reese, New Centerville.  She was a graduate of Somerset Area High
  School and was employed by First Data of Hagerstown for 11 years.  Member of
  Macedonia United Brethren Church near Greencastle where she served as Sunday
  school teacher and a youth leader.  Family will receive friends from 6 to 9
  p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing from 10 a.m. until
  service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ,
  Stoystown.  The Rev. Gayle L. Ruble Sr. officiating.  Interment, Husband
  Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family sincerely requests memorials be
  sent to Macedonia United Brethren Church, 11887 Worleytown Rd.,
  Greencastle, Pa. 17225.
