  REEVES
  
  Bessie Irene Reeves, 93, of Confluence RD 3, died Oct. 29, 1998, at
  Somerset Hospital.  She was born June 9, 1905, in Rockwood, a daughter of
  the late Bruce and Susan (Romesburg) Nicola.  In addition to her parents,
  she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. Reeves.  She is
  survived by a daughter, Verdella Metheney of Confluence; two grandchildren,
  Judy Leer of Markleton and Bill Metheney of Confluence; also four
  great-grandchildren: Christine Hoover and Michael Metheney of Somerset,
  Jennifer Leer, Cumberland, Md., and B.J. Leer of Markleton, and four
  great-great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Molly and Emily Hoover and Joshua
  Metheney.  She attended the Ursina Church of God for many years.  Friends
  will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday (today) at the Humbert Funeral
  Home in Confluence, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, with
  the Rev. Edward Devore officiating.  Interment, Kingwood IOOF Cemetery.
