Reffner, 89, Somerset, died Nov. 13, 2007, at The Patriot. Born May 6, 1918, in Somerset, she is a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Bubner) Chupek. Also preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Reffner; infant son, Timothy John Reffner; brothers, Michael, John, Andrew and George; and a sister, Margaret Gac. Survived by children, David 'Skip', married to Carol (Newman) Reffner, Somerset; Charlene 'Charlie' Jablonski, Navarre, Fla.; and Geraldine 'Buckie,' married to Jeffrey Johnson, Somerset; grandchildren, Tracy and Tiffany Reffner, Tanner and Todd Reffner, Tech. Sgt.Christopher Jablonski USAF Special OPS, David Jablonski, Courtney Pierson, Lt. J.G. Adam Johnson, USN, married to Ensign Rebecca Johnson and Gwen Johnson, and great-granddaughter, Cailey Ann Jablonski. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, and the Windber Hospital School of Nursing Alumni. She retired as a Nursing Supervisor at Somerset Hospital after more than 35 years of service. She was also an avid bingo player. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. A vigil for the deceased will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli celebrant.
