CORA REIBER

  Mrs. Cora (Brown) Reiber, 70, died Saturday night, Sept. 14, at 11 o'clock at 
the family home on Broadway, following a brief illness.
  She was born in Meyersdale October 26, 1876, a daughter of Michael and Sarah 
(Marteney) Brown, and had lived here practically all of her life.
  Surviving are her husband, Benjamin C. Reiber, and the following children: 
Louis Reiber, Canton, Ohio; John Reiber, Baltimore, Md.; Harry Reiber, 
Cumberland, Md.; Dalton Reiber, Washington, D.C.; Leroy Reiber, at home, and 
Mrs. Charles Geiger, Meyersdale, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Leona Mae Kowalewski, 
whom the grandparents reared from infancy.
  She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Hoover, Meyersdale, and Mrs. 
Rosie Geisbert, Massillon, Ohio, and by 20 grandchildren and 5 great-
grandchildren.
  Mrs. Reiber was a lifelong member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren.
  Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 in the Church of the 
Brethren by the pastor, Rev. Loren Bowman.  Interment in Union Cemetery under 
the direction of H. R. Konhaus.
