Born Oct. 12, 1931, in Littleton, W.Va., the daughter of the late McKinley Hubbs and Roxie Margaret Hubbs Brown. Also preceded in death by step father, Arthur G. Brown; brother, John S. Hubbs; step sister, Arthureta (Brown) Knonchik; and step son, Gerald Reiber. Survived by dearly beloved husband, Jack B. Reiber, Somerset and Stoystown; step sons, Larry F. Reiber and wife, Crystal (Johnson), Somerset; Jack R. Reiber and wife, Sue Ellen (Hoover), Uniontown; Robert W. Reiber and wife, Audrey (Stark), New Cumberland; Scott M. Reiber, Ruffsdale; sisters- In-law, Gladys Hubbs, Turtle Creek; and Daisy (Reiber) Emert, Somerset; granddaughters, Rachel Reiber, Woodstock, Va. and Sarah Reiber, Somerset; step-grandson, Jason Flynn, New Cumberland; nephews, Richard Emert, Jennerstown; John Emert, Virginia; John M. Hubbs and William Hubbs; nieces, Emily (Emert) Troy, Somerset; Marcie (Hubbs), Penn Hills. Georgia loved her family deeply. She worked for the federal government for 37 years, retiring from the office of surface mining in Johnstown, in 1994, where she worked for 35 years. She will be missed by her family and many friends and always remembered for her soft spoken ways, love, caring and compassion. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset where service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Mark Bendes officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
