      Philip "Beachy" Reich, 82 of Meyersdale, died January 19, 2008 at his 
  home.
      Born August 13, 1925 in Meyersdale, a son of the late Philip George 
  and Christianna (Beachy) Reich. Also preceded in death by a daughter 
  Christine, and three sisters, Georgia Hartle, Mary Staub, and Maurine 
  Mullinix.
      He is survived by his wife Thelma (Getty) Reich, and two sons: Michael 
  Reich and his wife Susan, Meyersdale; and Philip Reich, Meyersdale. 
  Also survived by two grandchildren, Crystal and Tyler, and step 
  granddaughter Alyse.
      He retired from Citizens National Bank in Meyersdale, with 57 years of 
  service. He was president and a member of the board of directors; a 
  graduate of Meyersdale Area High School and the University of Maryland 
  with a bachelor of science degree; a veteran of the U.S. Navy, with 
  three years of service during WWII; a member of the American Legion, 
  VFW, B.P.O.E., Knights of Columbus, and was a member and past president 
  of the Somerset County Bankers Assoc.
      "Beachy" was well loved and will be missed by family and friends.
      Friends were received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Price Funeral 
  Home, Meyersdale. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at SS. 
  Philip and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale, with the Very Rev. James 
  M. Dugan VF, celebrant.
      Committal will follow at SS. Philip and James Cemetery. Arrangements 
  by the William Rowe Price Funeral Home, Inc., Meyersdale. In lieu of 
  flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SS. Philip and James 
  Catholic Church, Meyersdale.
