Born Nov. 5, 1910 in Smithburg, Md. Daughter of John Henry and Leila Bowser (Martz) Hoover. Preceded in death by parents, husband Jay Bowers Reichard who died March 6, 1979; two grandsons, William J. Lane and Rodger L. Reichard; a brother John Hoover, and two sisters Catherine Leather and Verda I. Hays. Survived by: children Donald L. Reichard, married to the former Fadra Pyle of Somerset, and Mrs. Herbert W. (Luann) Hochard of Sarasota, Fla.; a granddaughter, Mrs. Ronald E. (Virginia) Deeter of Berlin; three great-grandchildren, William W. Lane, Jonathan Lane and Mrs. Travis (Kelly Jo) Dull of New Paris, and a great-great-granddaughter Saddie Elizabeth Dull. Also special granddaughter-in-law Mrs. Edwin (Cindy) Mayak of Ralphton; foster daughter Mrs. Herznan (Thelma) Worsham of Statesville,. N.C., and brother Kenneth W. Hoover of Waynesboro. Member of the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Co-owned and operated with her husband Reichard's Store in Lavansville for 30 years prior to 1976. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Rev. Edward W. Ebersole officiating.
