Born May 24, 1908, in Trenton, N.J., son of the late Henry Baker and Naomi (Kessler) Reiley Sr. Survived by his wife, the former Betty Holmes; two sons: Henry B. III, Attleboro, Mass.; and David H., Somerset; four grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. James (Elizabeth) Kimble, Sequim, Wash.; John, Kissimmee, Fla; Mrs. Hans (Margaret) Stumpf, Somerset; and Mrs. Joseph (Ruth) Baum, Howard, Ohio. Member of Calvary United Methodist Church; Paul Harris Fellow of the Somerset Rotary Club; Pharoah Lodge No. 355 F. and A.M. of St. Paris, Ohio; the Sons of the American Revolution, serving as national chaplain general; past chairman of the Hire the Handicapped Committee; past chairman of the Somerset-Bedford Mental Health/Mental Retardation Board; past member of the board of directors, Somerset County Health and Welfare Council; past member of Pennsylvania Mental Health Inc.; past president Somerset County Development Council; member of the Somerset County Development Authority; member Y.M.C.A. Board of Directors. President, publisher and editor of Somerset Newspapers Inc. Ordained Methodist minister, he served in churches in New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Calvary United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Harry Sherry officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. No visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church of choice.
