   Irene A. Reininger, 83, Somerset, died Jan. 5, 2007, at Somerset Hospital. Born Aug. 23,
  1923, in Jenners, a daughter of the late Anna and Andrew Vitkowsky. Also preceded in death
  by her husband, Charles R. Reininger. Survived by daughter, Karen Reininger, with whom she
  resided, and a son, Charles A. Reininger, married to the former Nancy J. Swank and loving
  grandson, Charlie Reininger, all of Somerset. She leaves behind two beloved pets, Frisky
  and KeeKee. She retired from the Somerset State Hospital in 1988 and enjoyed reading,
  doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her beloved grandson. Member of St.
  Peter's Catholic Church. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset. A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday
  in St. Peter's Catholic Church. Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli celebrant. Committal in
  Somerset County Memorial Park. Vigil for the deceased will be held 2 p.m. Monday in the
  funeral home. Contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church, 433 W. Church
  St., Somerset, PA 15501.
