  Ronald W. Reitz, 44, of Shanksville, died Dec. 9, 1989, at Allegheny
  General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born June 26, 1945, in Shade Township, son of
  the late Jennings B. Reitz and Alice (Baker) Reitz of Shanksville.  Survived
  by a son, Jonathan B., of Davidsville; sister, Joyce E. of Shanksville;
  maternal grandmother, Iva Baker of Ogletown; aunts, Willa M. Reitz of
  Windber, Lena Damewood of North Carolina, Jean Debaugh of Florida; uncles,
  Phillip Reitz of Cairnbrook, Ray Baker of Maryland, and Irvin Baker of
  Slatington, Pa.; and very special great-aunt, Anna Grace Hoffman of
  Ogletown.  Graduate of Penn State Univeristy.  Member of the Alpha Chi Sigma
  Fraternity.  Former employee of The Johnstown Tribune-Democrat and the
  Department of Public Welfare.  Member of St. Mark Lutheran Church,
  Shanksville, and the NRA.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to
  9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be
  held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Horst H. Handle officiating.  Interment,
  McGregor Cemetery, Cairnbrook.  Memorial contributions may be made to St.
  Mark Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
