All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ JOSEPH HENRY REMBOLD Joseph Henry Rembold, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rembold of Nemacolin, passed away last Sunday morning at 4 o'clock, after a week's illness from double pneumonia. At the time of his death he was six months and three days old. He is survived by his parents and one brother, Jimmy, and one sister, Alice. Funeral services were conducted at the parental home on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, by Rev. Miller, pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Carmichaels, after which the body was taken to Smithfield and interred in the Smithfield cemetery by Undertaker W. H. Condit of Carmichaels. The following relatives attended the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. John Rembold and daughter, Mrs. Talmadge Howsare and son, Theodore, of Greenville Township; Herbert Tressler, of Mt. Savage; Mr. and Mrs. Ulysses Rembold and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Rembold, of Carmichaels; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and daughter Florence, of Phillips, Pa.; Leroy Rembold, of Nemacolin, who was visiting his parents at the time the death message was received, drove his mother to the home of the bereaved parents on Sunday. The other members of the family drove to Nemacolin the day of the funeral and returned home that evening. Mrs. Rembold remained with her son and his wife for several days.
