She was found dead sitting in a chair in her bedroom shortly after she had gone upstairs after breakfast. She was born in Greenville Township, February 14, 1864, the daughter of John C. and Elizabeth Miller Kendall. Her husband, John Rembold, died November 26, 1932. She is survived by the following children: LeRoy and Eugene Rembold and Mrs. Herbert Tressler of Nemacolin, Pa.; Mrs. Minnie Howsare of Hyndman, U.P. Rembold of Crucible, Pa., and W.T. Rembold, Meyersdale R.D. 3. Mrs. Rembold lived with the latter's son and family. She leaves 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Miss Mattie Kendall, now living in Meyersdale. She was a sister of the late Congressman S. A. Kendall of Meyersdale. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Ira S. Monn at three o'clock, Wednesday afternoon, in the Evangelical and Reformed Church, Pocahontas. Burial was made in the Hostetler Cemetery under the direction of H. R. Konhaus, Meyersdale mortician.
