Resh, 74, 1301 Morrell Ave., Connellsville, formerly of Indian Head, Pa. died at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Connellsville General Hospital. He was born Feb. 12, 1898 at Dixon, Ill., the son of the late Walter and Emma (Bauman) Resh. He was the former owner and operator of the Red and White Store at Indian Head. He was the member of King Solomon's Lodge No. 346, F, & A.M. of Connellsville and all Scottish Rites bodies. He was a member of Syria Shrine and the Indian Head Church of God. Surviving is his wife Mary Elizabeth Resh; one son, Clarence, Indian Head: two daughters, Mrs. Lester L. Miller of Indian Head, and Mrs. Edward MacDonald, Parsons, Kansas There are six step-children 17 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren; three brothers, Dan, Lavansville; Benton, Cleveland, Ohio, and Floyd, Pittsburgh; four sisters: Mrs. Ella Atcheson, Somerset; Mrs. Grace Enfield, Mrs. Stella Wetzel and Mrs. Erma Gibbs, all of Rockford, Ill. He was predeceased by first wife, Elizabeth (Dillon) Resh in 1948 and second wife, Stella (Bawnan) Resh in 1960. Friends are being received at the Brooks Funeral Home at Indian Head where services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. G. Marion Smith officiating. Interment in the Husband Cemetery.
