Born March 2, 1921 in Grantsville, he was a son of the late Arthur and E. Grace (Yost) Resh. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Resh. Mr. Resh was a member of the Maple Grove Church of the Brethren; Woodmen of the World, Camp 41; and Casselman Valley Sportsmen's Club. He was employed as a welder and a truck driver. He is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Resh of Grantsville and Emerson Resh of Baltimore, Md.; eight sisters: Doris Cross, Cumberland. Md.; Norma Bowser, Mary Kamp and Kathryn Nixon, all of Grantsville; Josephine Crowe, Baltimore; Helen Bowser, Louisville, Ohio; Wanda Brewer, Fort Worth, Texas; and Frances Barncord, Corriganville, Md. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 27 (today), at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, with the Rev. Terrell Mallow and the Rev. Daniel Whitacre officiating.
