Born in Grantsville, Maryland on Aug. 29, 1896, he was a son of the late Simon Resh and Harriett (Broadwater) Resh. His wife, Mrs. Zula Resh, died in 1953. He served in the Marine Corps in World War I. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Jennings. He is survived by one son, Owen Resh, and one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Rutter, both of Akron, Ohio; two brothers, Lersey Resh, Uniontown, Ohio; Joseph Resh, Grantsville; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Stahl, Grantsville; Mrs. Beatrice Glotfelty, Accident, Maryland; and four grandchildren. Services were conducted at Zion Lutheran Church, Jennings, by the Rev. David Rockwood. Interment, Bittinger Cemetery. The Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, was in charge of arrangements.
