Resh, 85, of Grantsville RD 2, Md., died Jan. 27, 1978, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born in Grantsville, Md., he was a son of the late Simon and Harriett (Wiley) Resh. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Jennings, Md., a veteran of World War I, and a retired farmer. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Martha (Kissinger) Resh; a son, Edgar Resh, of Grantsville; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Miller, Springs; Mrs. June McKenzie, of Grantsville; five brothers, Howard Resh, Akron, Ohio; Lersey Resh, Uniontown, Ohio; Arthur Resh, Joseph Resh and Paul Resh, all of Grantsville; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Stahl, of Grantsville; Mrs. Beatrice Glotfelty, Accident, Md., and five grand-Children. Services were conducted in Zion Lutheran Church Monday by the Rev. James Mitchell. Interment, Grantsville Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Newman Funeral Home.
