Born August 10, 1929, in Grantsville, he was the son of the late Arthur and Grace (Yost) Resh. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold "Snip" Resh and Jerry Resh and one sister, Jody Crowe. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Rebecca Grace (Yoder) Resh; three daughters, Rosetta K. "Rosie" Resh and friend, Gary Guard; Anna Grace Colmer and husband, Joe, all of Grantsville; Annetta Lepley and husband, Weldon, Meyersdale; two special grandchildren, Crystal Ann DeBerry and husband, Jamie and Joe Colmer, Jr.; seven sisters, Kathryn Nixon, Mary Kamp and Norma Bowser, all of Grantsville; Fran Barncord, Corriganville, Md.; Doris Cross, Cumberland, Md.; Helen Bowser, Louisville, Ohio; Wanda Brewer, Fort Worth, Texas and one brother, Emerson Resh, Baltimore, Md. Mr. Resh was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren and was a long time farmer. He was a charter member of the Garrett County Horsemen's Association and member of the Mountain Top Wagon Train. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md. on Friday, June 16, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Services were conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
