Because of her age and the weakened condition she was in, she was unable to recover from the severe shock she received and nine days after the injury passed quietly away. Her husband preceded her to the grave about twenty years ago. Mrs. Resh was a member of the Church of the Brethren in which she was always an active worker and was well beloved by all the church people, as well as her family and many friends, who keenly regret her passing. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Lee McGrath and Mrs. Rachel Pritts, both living in the state of Washington, two brothers, Harman H. Lee of National City, Cal., and Dr. D. R. Lee of Arcadia, Nebraska, also by the following children: Mrs. Elizabeth Neff and Mrs. Laura Caton of Meyersdale, Mrs. Lydia Finch of Fort Worth, Texas, Daniel Resh of York, Pa., John Resh of Harrison, this county. Three sons preceded her to the grave, Milton Resh of Cumberland and Elias and Thomas, who died in infancy. Meyersdale Republican, October 9, 1930
