SIMON RESH

Garrett County, Maryland

  Simon Resh, prosperous Jennings farmer, aged 87 years, died at his home 
Tuesday morning after a prolonged illness.  Mr. Resh was well known and well 
liked in this community, where he spent most of his life.  He was the son of the 
late Mathias Resh, Germany, and Catherine Katon Resh.
  Surviving are his wife, Harriet Wiley Resh; seven sons and two daughters, as 
follows: Jervin, at home, Joseph and Paul, also Jennings, Arthur, Grantsville, 
Howard, Harvey, and Larsey, Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Stewart Stall, Jennings, and Mrs. 
Playford Glotfelty, Bittinger.
  Funeral services were preached Wednesday afternoon at 12 o'clock at the 
Jennings Lutheran Church by Rev. A. C. Curran, pastor.
