Born Jan. 16, 1914, in Acosta. Son of John and Rosemary (Shields) Resnick (Rzeznik). Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Smolinski; parents and sister, Anna. Survived by daughters: Kathleen and Frances, and son, Joseph Jr., all of New York City. Also Survived by sisters: Helen of Somerset and Theresa Quesnell of Troy, Mich., and numerous nieces and nephews. Retired after 41 years at Horne and Hardick of New York City, where he was head manager. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Member of Immaculate Conception Church, New York City.
