  Mrs. Vera H. Restly, 76, of New Baltimore, died Jan. 16, 1987, in
  Windber Hospital.  Born Nov. 10, 1910, in New Baltimore, daughter of
  the late Edward and Ida (Weimer) Straub.  On April 26, 1927, she
  married Mark Restly, who preceded her in death July 7, 1964.  Also
  preceded in death by two infant children; granddaughter Kathy
  Hankinson; brothers Reid and Claude; sister Irma Walls.  Survived by
  these children: Mary Ellen, wife of Charles Hankinson, James married
  to former Rose Lybarger, both of New Baltimore; Louise, wife of Tom
  Connor, Spotswood, N.J.; Betty, wife of James Davis, Cleveland, Ohio;
  Robert, married to former Marcia Engel, Bedford; Mark, married to
  former Shirley Hoffman, San Antonio, Texas; Philip, married to former
  Judy Leichty, Glencoe; Donald, married to former Carol Otto, Chardon,
  Ohio; Alzine, wife of Richard Hoffman, Francis, married to former
  Carol Bruck, both of New Baltimore; Irma, wife of Lawrence Plush,
  Berlin; Kenneth, married to former Marilyn Martin, New Baltimore;
  Annabel, wife of Richard Hardin, of Dickerson, Md.; and Annalee
  Restly, New Baltimore; 46 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren;
  sister of George Straub, Johnstown.  Member St. John the Baptist
  Catholic Church, New Baltimore, where Mass of Christian Burial will
  be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Eugene Bettinger, O. Carm.,
  celebrant.  Interment, church cemetery.  Friends received 7-9 p.m.
  Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home,
  Schellsburg, where wake service will be held 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
