  Mary E. Jerin Retassie, 77, of 616 Kircher Place, Boswell, died Feb.
  8, 1985, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born March 17, 1907, in
  Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of Andrew and Matilda (Bodnar) Koteles.
  Preceded in death by parents; husbands, Roman Jerin and Dominic
  Retassie; son, Joseph; infant twins and sisters, Elizabeth Jerin and
  Matida Koteles.  Survived by these children; Miss Nora Jerin of
  Boswell; Ernest Jerin, married to Joan Durmmond, Hooversville RD 1;
  Leonard Jerin, married to Joann Kaniuk, Barberton, Ohio; Dominic
  Restassie, Listie; Mrs. Peter (Sally) Toma, Prospect, Conn.; Mrs.
  Thomas (Edith) Charlton, Stoystown RD 2; Geno Retassie, married to
  Nancy Digon, Davidsville; Jerry Retassie, married to Nancy Digon,
  Davidsville; Jerry Retassie, married to Louise Carbone, USAF, Alaska;
  Mrs. James (Mary Louise) Tortora, Southington, Conn.; 19 grandchildren
  and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was a sister of John Koteles of Bethel
  Park.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  services will be held at 11 a. m. Monday with the Rev. Gerald L.
  Myers officiating.  Interment, POS of A. Cemetery, Hooversville.
