  Harold F. "Rex" Rexroth Sr., 68, of Friedens RD 2, died Aug. 19,
  1979, in Wheeling Hospital, Windber.  Born Sept. 19, 1910, in Shade
  Township, son of Jennie Manges.  Preceded in death by mother; wife,
  the former Elizabeth May, who died Mar. 20, 1979; two sisters; and
  one brother.  Survived by these children: Harold F. Jr., Somerset;
  Mrs. D. Larry (Marlene) Barnhart, of Stoystown; Mrs. Jerry (Norma
  Jean) Klotz, Stoystown RD 2; Wayne E., Stoystown RD 3; Neil L.,
  married to Tracey Jo Hillegass, Stoystown RD 1; seven grandchildren;
  and brother, Ralph Shumaker, Taylor, Mich.  Self-employed coal truck
  driver and retired farmer.  Member of Grace Lutheran Church,
  Stoystown, and UMWA.  Family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Monday 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Remains
  will be removed to Grace Lutheran Church to lie in state from noon
  until services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Ronald C. Long
  officiating assisted by the Rev. Howard H. Stahl.  Interment, Husband
  Cemetery, Somerset.
