Preceded in death by parents, brother Floyd, and sister Velma Richardson. Survived by wife, the former Thelma A. Mason; sons Richard L., married to the former Karen Burlingame, Sharon, Pa.; Frederick J., married to former Frances Fedorowicz, Somerset RD, and Russell A., married to former Kathy Shaw, Jackson Center, Pa.; also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Brother of Mabel Hochler, Battleboro, N.C., and Elaine, married to Lynn Griffith, Galena, Ohio. Member of Mercer Church of the Nazarene, and Teamsters Union. Observed 57th wedding anniversary, July 3, 1999. Army veteran of World War II. Owner of former Reynolds Service Station, along Somerset Pike, Somerset RD. Retired mechanic for Cooper-Jarrett Trucking Co. Inc. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 am. Thursday, Rev. J. L. Rip Wright officiating.
