Jay and Ethel (Buckman) Musser, Berlin, passed away peacefully March 25, 2008 at Renaissance Gardens, Silver Spring, MD. She is survived by husband of 63 years, William J. Rhoads; sons: David M. (Barbara) and Richard W. (Lynn); grandchildren: Jennifer, Christopher, Lauren, and Kristin; and sisters: Helen Louise Geiger (Harold), Mary Lambert, and Rae Hoffman. Catherine (Cay), a Carnegie Mellon University graduate, was a retired Montgomery Co., MD Extension Home Economist, where she specialized in presenting "Clutter Clinics" and education programs for the deaf and blind. A highlight in the couples life was their renovation of the family barn into a home which was enjoyed by their family and many friends. She authored the 1991 book "COUNTRY CARPENTER" As a tribute, contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice, 1355 Piccard Dr. Suite 100, Rockville, MD 20850; the Berlin Historical Center, or the Somerset Historical Center. Memorial services will be held at a later time.
